How to find your TAC claim number
Your TAC claim number is a very important number when you have a TAC claim.
It is this number that you should put on all correspondence that you send to the TAC.
And when you call the TAC and wish to speak to someone about your claim, you should have this number handy because you will need to provide it to the TAC.
If you’re not sure how to find your TAC claim number, it should be printed on almost all correspondence and documentation that you receive from the TAC.
Once you’ve lodged a TAC claim, whether that be over the phone or using the TAC’s online claim lodgement form, you should be provided with a claim number straight away.
Even if your TAC claim is yet to be determined (or even if it has been rejected) you will have a TAC claim number.
If you just cannot locate your TAC claim number, then an easy way to obtain your claim number is to contact the TAC and let them know that you’re trying to locate your claim number.
They should be able to provide you with your claim number after you identify yourself appropriately to them.
